Frita Batidos is a chef-driven restaurant inspired by Cuban culture and a fantasy revolving around two culinary staples in the world of Cuban street food – The FRITA – a burger traditionally made from spicy chorizo served with shoestring fries on top in a soft egg bun and BATIDOS – tropical milkshakes made with fresh fruit, crushed ice, and sweetened milk – with or without rum.

The name fits! Ever since he was a young boy Paul was always taller than every other kid. He grew up in suburban Detroit with 3 siblings and a passion for sports and vegetables. Green beans were always his favorite with Pickles being a close second, especially his mother’s homemade crock dills. “I still remember going to get fresh cukes with my Mom from the roadside farm stand on 9 mile road in Farmington Michigan every summer” says Paul.
Leduc Blueberry Farm

Located 11 miles west of Kalamazoo and south of M-43 on 30th Street in Paw Paw, Michigan, Leduc Farms has been in the blueberry business for over 50 years. Established by Roger and Jackie Leduc in 1955, the farm is now owned and operated by their son, Joe. The Leducs operate their 400-acre farm on the principles of balancing family tradition and supporting their community.
